Cleaning

We offer a wide range of services; however, our first step is to determine which procedures will be necessary to restore your pieces. It may be necessary to only wash some items, while some may need to go through the paint remover solution and others may need to go through the stripper to remove old nickel plating.

Polishing

During polishing we use various sized lathes with buffing wheels and compounds. The polishing process is completed by hand; no automated machine work is done in our shop.

Bead Blasting

Bead blasting uses a blasting cabinet with glass media to remove rust from steel pieces, it is also used to prepare cast brass for polishing and plating.

Painting

We offer painting and powder coating as one of our many services. We are able to paint items a variety of colors and spray them with a finishing clear coat to ensure many years of lasting painted beauty.

Plating & Finishes

We offer three types of plating: copper, brass and nickel. We will plate over steel, die cast white metal and other metals that can be plated. We also offer twenty-two different finishes which can be completed on both plated and polished items.

Repairs

We can repair your treasured metal piece, offering minor to major dent removal. We also reproduce missing parts  for a treasured piece. We do lead soldering, silver soldering and electric welding.

Rewiring

We specialize in rewiring and replacing old parts in ceiling fixtures, table lamps and floor lamps. We also carry a large selection of electrical replacement parts.

Parts Replacement

We can restore your metal antiques from the beginning to the end. We also have on hand many hard to find replacement parts.

We can create a lamp out of many unusual items, including musical instruments, blow torches, fire extinguishers, and fire hose nozzles.

Church Altar Ware Restoration

Our services are available for church altar ware restoration. We can restore altar candlesticks, altar crosses, eternal lights, advent candle holders, communion chalices, communion sets, collection plates and many other metal church items.

     

Lighting Restoration & Repair

From the smallest light fixture to the largest most ornate chandelier we can restore them all. We will restore brass, copper, silver and crystal light fixtures; repairing, rewiring and replacing most missing parts.

Hardware Restoration

We can help you put the finishing touch on your home’s restoration project by restoring your old hardware to the original finish. Polishing or plating your old hardware can add that last personal touch to the restoration of your home by keeping the original antique hardware.
