The Antique Service Center in Sumner, Iowa, was recommended to me by our painter, Andre Bajorek, in 2000. Gradually, through the years, Gordy and his crew have refinished most of the wonderful 80-year old hardware in our house. Solid brass hinges and door knobs now glow, and the polished nickel pieces sparkle. We are fortunate to have such skilled, talented and knowledgeable craftsmen in Iowa. Not only does the Antique Service Center do beautiful work, but my completed orders are returned to me in a timely fashion, carefully wrapped. It is always a pleasure doing business with Gordy and Elaine.

Sincerely,
Sue Brenton

I have been a loyal customer of the Antique Service Center for over 15 years.  Over that time period we have had them perform a wide variety of services.  This includes nickel plating of difficult and unusual pieces, brass polishing and total antique lamp restoration.  They have always performed their work with superior workmanship and in a timely fashion.  I would recommend the Antique Service Center for your next project

To the lover of fine antiques,

Restoring antiques for my home has been a passion for many years.  As these antiques are for my own enjoyment I strive for perfection.

Lacking in many of my early projects was the ability to properly restore metal parts.  It was a fortuitous day when a friend, who is also into antique restorations, recommended ANTIQUE SERVICE CENTER in Sumner Iowa.  The quality of work and attention to detail is exceptional at the Antique Service Center.  While the center is many hundred miles from where I live, projects are finished in a timely manner and shipped to me well packaged and insured.

Most important is the Midwest ethic of the friendly people at Antique Serve Center.  Gordon (Gordy) Davis and his wife Elaine are sharp business people with a very large selection of antique lamps, lamp parts and much more.  They may live in a small Iowa town (Sumner) but they have big hearts.  Dave works along side Gordy in the re-plating room.  Dave is a true craftsman.  If you have a chance to visit their shop in Sumner your first indication of a quality operation is how neat and tidy everything is from the show room to the plating, polishing and assembly rooms.

“I WOULD NEVER CONSIDER SENDING MY ANTIQUE METAL RESTORATION PROJECT TO ANY ONE ELSE”

With warm regards,
